Wyoming Does Not Disapoint

Took off to Wyoming late Thursday afternoon. We were going to go try for Rainbows but at the last minute we went to one of our Cutthroat haunts.

We got to camp around 9:30 and realized we didn't have a lighter or matches to cook our BBQ. So we messed with the cigarette lighter in Dalt's truck to try and spark some flame. We finally got it and threw these sweet kabobs on.

 Morning time.

Dogs were stoked to be out.

 Dalt gearing up.

Once we reached the river it was very off color and our hearts sank. Ideas were thrown out like "it's early.... Maybe we should go to another river....."

So I decided to give it one shot to see if the river would fish. Second cast we were in business with this healthy Cutty.

So the precedent was set and the fish were active.
I got into this one early on and it was a good size fish forsure.

He was wiggling at picture time but you can see the girth.

Bright sunny day without a cloud in the sky and there was no service for the black berries. made for a quiet day and we could really concentrate on slaying.

Caught a couple really good ones in here.

Enjoy a few shots...

 YEAH!!!

Fish of the day for me.

I know I have said it already but this year could be really, really good!

Thanks,
Chris Giles
